Opportunity to Support our CPCA Chaplain

Today, I received an email from RCMP "F" Division Chaplain Coordinator/CPCA-SK Region Director Tom McCullagh advising of a need regarding CPCA Member/RCMP Chaplain Heather Wyatt. Heather currently serves the RCMP Members of the La Ronge Detachment in SK, and has done so weekly for nearly 14 years.

Heather's husband Bob is facing significant health challenges requiring a temporary relocation to Saskatoon while he receives medical care. Heather is renting a room in Saskatoon to be close to her husband.

In response, RCMP Cst. Logan Fiske has begun a 50/50 fundraiser in support of the Wyatt's financial needs. I agree with Tom who shared in his email that Cst. Fiske's response, "is a wonderful testament to the relationship Heather has forged with them (La Ronge RCMP), as she faithfully met with the detachment every Wednesday morning."

As CPCA Chaplains, we have an opportunity to support Heather in a spiritual and practical way. We are "Better Together;" thus, I encourage you to keep Bob and Heather Wyatt in daily prayer, and to consider supporting them financially through the 50/50 fundraiser that Cst. Fiske has set up.

If you are able to support Heather and Bob, the 50/50 tickets are $10 for 10 and may be purchased through an e-Transfer to Cst. Fiske at loganfiske11@gmail.com

If you are not set up to e-Transfer funds, please consider reaching out to Cst. Fiske through his email address above in order to make alternative arrangements.

Let us join our faith with Heather & Bob and show our love for them, both in a practical sense and spiritually, for we know that, "If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it" 1 Corinthians 12:26 [NIV].

I encourage each CPCA Regional Director to share this with all the chaplains in your area. Thank you.

Warmest regards,

Bruce Ewanyshyn

CPCA President
