This three-hour presentation will provide you with sound principles and concepts to help you and others with conflict management within your workplace. A police environment is prone to disruptions and conflicts; thus, having tools to move persons towards reconciliation is an asset.
Our presenter, Melanie Gerhardt, is currently the Informal Conflict Management Practitioner with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in K Division (Alberta). Melanie has always had a passion for helping people, and it was a first-hand experience while managing her own team that led to her exploration of interest-based communication and ultimately further study in conflict management. Melanie has achieved a certificate in Conflict Resolution from Mount Royal University.
