Guns, Gangs & Violence Forum Apr 23

CPCA Members are welcome to register for the "Guns, Gangs & Violence Forum" hosted by the Canadian Multifaith Federation & Anti Racism Initiative of the G20 Interfaith Forum

Foundation. The Forum will take place on April 23rd from 1300 hours to 1500 hours EST.

The purpose of the Forum is:

• Highlight the role of faith groups in community engagement and violence prevention.

• Facilitate dialogue between faith leaders, law enforcement and other stakeholders.

• Identify actionable steps for collaborative efforts in addressing these issues

CPCA - ON Regional Director Charles Swartwood sits on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Multifaith Federation and shares that, "this event will broaden your understanding of a challenge that has been with us for a while and equip you so you are more prepared to support your Police Family." Speakers include WPS Chief of Police (Ret.) Devon Clunis, Tony McAleer, Lisa Lewis, and The Rev. Prof. Dr. James Taylor Christie.
